Hwy 17S - Wawa to Batchawana Closed
Superior East OPP are advising the public of a road closure, Highway 17S Wawa to Batchawana due to poor road and weather conditions resulting from snow squalls and white outs in that area. Updates will be sent out as the situation improves.

I agree that smoking is probably hastening some people's deaths but I have a problem with the claims in this report. 1000 non smokers dying from cigarette smoke seems high to me. Of the 45,000, how many were initially made sick at their places of work, breathing welding fumes, gases, dust, dirt, chemicals. If a 95 year old smoker dies of lung cancer, are they included in those dying prematurely. So many situations can be included in statistics. I like to read the studies myself.
